The picture in my mind was just not enough...

October at the Beach...

Another Saturday day trip. This time we got off by 12:30, which left us a little more time. We left right after Clay's scout training and the girls' primary activity. I knew it might be my last sunny Saturday at the beach for a while. I couldn't let it pass by.

First time face plant- a little stressed, not too sure...

Hmm, I guess it's ok.

I have a crush.

His name is Sam.

Can you blame me?

Girl Party

We had some cousins stay the night while all the daddy's were hunting. We were not lacking for drama. All went surprisingly well- not even one meltdown. Oh wait- those came the day after the poor night's sleep...

Seven little bums on four stools- with room to spare. What truly happy little girls.

Huh?

Ava, Ava, Ava Mae.

This was not a first occurance. I just happened to get the picture this time. This girl loves her daddy's reading material: Field and Stream and Cabela's catalogs- conveniently located, of course.

It's A Boy Thing

Sam seemed to be extra excited about a recent purchase.

September at the beach.

WE LOVE THE BEACH! On this particular Saturday we didn't leave until 3pm! We got to the sand around 4:30 and stayed until 7:30pm or so. One of the best ways on Earth to spend three hours.

What more could you need? Nothing quite like a stick and some kelp rope. This is my favorite pic of the day.

Clay caught a crab in his trap that he threw in from the beach. Natalie was thrilled.
